In New Hampshire, Bay Colony recently helped to finance a relatively unusual project. A company, in the business of excavating and rock crushing for the last twenty years found an opportunity to acquire a large sand and gravel pit. Containing more than a million yards of material, the pit was an ideal fit to the company’s principal business. Obviously, in this economy, financing such a project is not easy. However, the venture made sense to Bay Colony and Greenfield Co-Operative Bank (Anthony Worden, VP).
